Nanny services One World Nannies - a helping hand across the globe

Parents

Kiwis have a great reputation for their 'can do' positive attitude to their jobs. We know it's vital that you find the right person to work with you and your children.

To register your interest or simply for more information please do not hesitate to fill in our parents application or Contact us.

We check at least two references both in writing and verbally and provide these for you. We can arrange for you to speak to the referees too if required. We do our own independent New Zealand Police Check and verify all nanny and teaching qualifications.

Nannies who have a recognised qualification are expected to take full charge of the children in their care. This may include their food preparation, washing and ironing their clothes and clearing up after them. Childcare is the focus of this role keeping children creatively and actively stimulated.

Tutor/Governesses have a full teaching qualification and are required to add some educational support to the nanny role. Great for helping with homework and finding those learning opportunities in fun and play after school or during the holidays.

Parent helpers are not qualified as nannies but have childcare experience. Their duties may include more general housework in addition to working with the children. Individual job descriptions vary and writing Contracts helps clarify expectations on both sides.

*special - tutor/governess available - qualified teachers long or short term for educational support. Why not employ a New Zealand Teacher for the holidays to make the most of every learning opportunity!*

How we can help you find the right person for your family? jenny02.jpg:

By clarifying your needs we will try to help you find the right person for your family and your budget.

Think carefully about the sort of person you are looking for and give us as much information as possible about you and your children.

Some of our candidates are already in London and available for interview in person. Some are getting ready to come over and we would encourage you to chat on the telephone. We may be able to set up a video link so that you can talk and see them on line.

Fill in the parents application form and we will contact you shortly to discuss your needs in further detail.

Preparing for the interview.

In the first instance we suggest that you interview the candidates by telephone - either while they are still in New Zealand or after they arrive.

For safety reasons we must be informed of the timing and location of face to face interviews, and strongly recommend that these take place during daylight hours to ensure the nanny's security.

The candidates will bring their passport, certificates and original references for you to verify. Please do not by shy about asking to see these. One World Nannies endeavours to put forward only the most suitable candidates. However it is your responsibility to satisfy yourselves that the applicant is, in every way suitable and qualified for the position. We will provide evidence of our independent New Zealand Police Check and copies of the independent written references we have obtained.

Terms and Conditions for One World Nannies

We have a one off fee for a qualified and/or experienced full time and permanent nanny/tutor/governess/parent helper - £1200.

For young or newly qualified nannies/parent helpers (less than 20 years old) we offer reduced rates - please contact us if you are interested in employing someone younger so we can discuss potential candidates with you and outline our fees at that time.

If a candidate is shared between two families, takes a temporary post or a part time position the fees are by negotiation.

We also offer a variety of payment schedules to suit your budget. Either the full fee at the begining of the placement, or one which allows you to pay half the fee at the begining, and the other half after their first month of employment to help spread the cost.

We guarantee to find a replacement if either party is not satisfied within the first 30 days, or fee refunded (minus a small administration fee of £75).

The team at One World Nannies have helped us out on two occasions and each time we have been very pleased with the high calibre of candidate and the ease of getting through the hiring process. Ruth and Sue actually listen to your requirements and this is reflected in their lovely candidates. Our nanny is part of the family and we are incredibly greatful to Ruth and Sue for sending her to us. We would highly recommend One World Nannies and would not hesitate to use them again..." "We have been delighted with the nanny that was placed with us through One World Nannies. She is a very competent and caring nanny. One World nannies have offered us a very professional service and were able to help us on issues to do with the nanny share arrangement and Ofsted registration for our nanny. Our daughter has got on really well with the nanny and we have been very confident in her abilities to care for our daughter and stimulate her through her changing needs as she has developed over the past year. We would not hesitate to recommend One World Nannies and we will definitely be using them again when I return to work from maternity leave for the second time." Sarah - London
