NanniesWant to work as a Nanny in the UK and beyond? If you have a recognized Nanny qualification or lots of experience looking after children we can help you to find a suitable family. Fill in the nannies application form and we will contact you shortly to discuss your options. This service is FREE to you! Families usually require a minimum commitment of a year as it provides stability for the children. Many nannies stay even longer.
Nannies who have a recognised qualification are expected to take full charge of the children in their care. This may include their food preparation, washing and ironing their clothes and clearing up after them.
Individual job descriptions vary and writing Contracts helps clarify expectations on both sides. Both nannies and parent helpers will be expected to entertain their charges - families appreciate someone who will keep the children physically active and creatively stimulated. Outings to the pool, park and library, baking and games depending on the age of the children and the families preferences. We make every possible effort to match you with the right family, assessing their needs as well as your own requirements. It is very important however that you make the final decision when you meet them at interview face to face. We will assist with the drafting of Contracts which although not legally binding are a great place to start. We will provide ongoing support and advice once you are in the UK. Sue in our UK office provides a good point of contact if you have queries or problems. We can also introduce you to other nannies in your area if you like. You're there to have fun at work and play! We will invite you to join our facebook page - you will be able to chat to Kiwi nannies in the UK before you even leave!
